Morning<\/strong>
7:00 AM to 8:10 AM

Planning days<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

An invitation will be sent home for planning days. To reserve a spot, you must register your children on the reservation sheet and return it to the daycare. The rate is determined on that sheet. Additional fees may be required for special activities. If you reserve a spot and your children are absent, you must pay for the day unless you notify the daycare at least one day in advance. Children must bring a complete lunch and two snacks.
It\u2019s important to reserve your spot before the date indicated on the reservation sheet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Parents\u2019 Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Parents have to pick up their children in time. Anyone arriving after 5:30 p.m. will be charged.
\u2013 When parents pick up their children, they must advise the educator and sign the children out.
\u2013 No child will be allowed to leave with any person who is not on the registration form unless the daycare has been otherwise notified. These individuals may be asked for identification until they become familiar to the educator.
\u2013 Parents are financially responsible for any damage caused by their children.
\u2013 The children may play outside every day; please ensure your children are dressed appropriately (gloves, mitts, hats, snowpants\u2026). Our rule is \u2018Hats always on and coats done up!\u2019 We will use our judgment if the weather is too warm.
\u2013 Parents must inform the daycare of any changes to the registration and medical forms (address, registration days, children\u2019s health\u2026). Parents will always pay for the number of days specified in the contract.
\u2013 If someone else is picking up the children, please send a note to inform the daycare.
\u2013 Children are not permitted to enter classrooms during daycare hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Minor Incidents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Minor incidents are everyday disruptions that interrupt learning or safety without intending to hurt anyone. Since these actions usually come from simple mistakes or getting overly excited rather than trying to cause trouble, explaining them focuses on finding the distraction, sticking to school rules and expectations, and gently helping students get back on track.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Consequence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1 minor = time out

2 minors = time out and do not return to activity (soccer, sand pit, etc.)

3 minors = a major, called and picked up<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Major Incidents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Major incidents are serious, deliberate behaviours that disrupt the school and put students or staff at risk. These actions go beyond breaking\u00a0school rules because they stem from strong emotions or intentionally breaking boundaries. As a result, explaining a major incident focuses on safety, identifying what triggered it, and carrying out clear steps, restorative actions, and support plans to keep the school safe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Consequence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1 major = call and pick up

2 majors = call and pick up + 1 day out

3 majors = call and pick up + 3 days out

4 majors = call and pick up + 5 days out

4+ majors will be determined with principal<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Physical Assault<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Severe incidents are the most extreme behaviours that threaten safety and require immediate intervention. Because these actions violate safety standards for staff and\u00a0students, they go beyond school discipline.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Consequence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1 physical assault = Call and pick up + 3 days out

If it recurs, the consequence will be determined by the principal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
