Production Equipment Operation

Program Details

Description

Are you detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and interested in working at the heart of modern manufacturing? The Production Equipment Operation program prepares you to operate single- and multi-function automated industrial equipment across diverse processing and manufacturing sectors. You will learn to manage automated assembly lines, adjust technical parameters via control panels and touch interfaces, troubleshoot production issues, and conduct quality control checks at every phase. Beyond everyday operations, you will perform minor preventive maintenance and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams (electromechanics, quality control, instrumentation) to keep manufacturing lines running efficiently.

Admission Requirements

Each vocational training program has its own prerequisites, ranging from Secondary II to Secondary V depending on the program.

Missing a prerequisite? We can help.
-Concurrent studies: In many programs, you can start your vocational training right away and complete your missing courses at the same time.
-Recognition of Acquired Competencies (RAC): Your work and life experience may count. RAC recognizes what you already know, so you don’t have to redo what you’ve already mastered.
-Adult General Education: In-person and online classes are offered to complete your Secondary III to V courses.
