Community

A Partner of Its School

The Knowlton community continues to be a very supportive partner of its school. The building is regularly used during the evenings and weekends for meetings, recreational activities, and social events. The local Scouts and Guides have their regular meetings at the school and occasionally centre invitational activities on the campus or in the building. The Optimist Club, Lions Club, the Free Masons, the Independent Order of the Oddfellows, Town of Brome Lake, and many other organisations and businesses all contribute financial support to the school. The Free Breakfast Program at Knowlton Academy is coordinated and is staffed each morning by volunteers from St. Paul’s Anglican Church. The program relies entirely upon donations to cover expenses. Caring individuals and business representatives from the community not only offer financial support, but also volunteer time to support the needs of our students. We recognize approximately 175 volunteers each year!
