SES Is Proud to Introduce Our Newest Member: “Sparky” the SES Mascot!

We congratulate students, Maya Faucher and Ismaiel Abd El Rahman whose combined designs contributed to the final selection of our school mascot. “Sparky” represents our freedom and ferocity, as well as our school’s mission to “spark” learning & positive character development. “Sparky” is a positive team player who carries a smile and encourages all forms of participation and success – whether academic, athletic, musical, artistic, humanitarian, etc… Further, “Sparky’s” green colour reminds us of our Établissement Vert Brundtland (EVB) status in conducting ourselves in a manner that considers our environment.

“Sparky” performed extremely well in his first mission – encouraging the SES Staff Dragon Boat team in last week’s Fête du Lac. While we finished 15th out of 18 teams, Sparky encouraged our optimism, positive team spirit and perseverance right to the end!

We look forward to many more years to come where Sparky ignites the fire of positive engagement, participation, and perseverance!
