About Our School
Located in Granby, Quebec, Parkview Elementary School serves the municipalities of Granby, St-Alphonse-de-Granby, St. Césaire, St. Paul d’Abbotsford, Ste-Cécile-de-Milton, Roxton Falls, Roxton Pond, and Shefford.
Originally built in 1940 as Granby High School, the school building has undergone many renovation projects over the years. When Massey Vanier Regional High School opened in the fall of 1969, the school transitioned into Parkview Elementary School, with Mr. William Munroe remaining at the helm as Principal. Formerly belonging to the District of Bedford School Board, Parkview is now part of the Eastern Townships School Board.
Parkview Elementary is fortunate to be the beneficiary of a trust fund bequeathed by Mr. John Bradford. This fund allows the school to invest in projects and programs that enrich its students’ educational experience, honoring Mr. Bradford’s wishes.
The school serves a steady population of around 400 primarily francophone students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. For the 2025–2026 school year, enrolment stands at 384 students organized into two K4 classes, three K5 classes, three grade 1 groups, three grade 2 groups, two grade 3 groups, three grade 4 groups, three grade 5 groups, and three grade 6 groups.
